NZPGA – 73, 73, 69, 67 for tied 16th.
NZ Open – Bledisloe Cup for finishing as the leading amateur.
2023:
Australian Boys Amateur Champion – and played in Australian Open.
I have officially signed to join University of Florida, Gainesville, USA and joining them in July 2024. Wow – seems like a dream!
2022:
Awarded HB Secondary schools sportsman of the year award tonight. I was very happy just to be nominated but to win this award. Very very happy and humbled.
I was awarded the HB Eagles society junior golfer of the year award tonight. The eagles do an amazing job supporting junior golf. Very proud to be presented this award.
2022 – big year of tournament golf and got some great results so far – check out the blog posts. And got another hole in ONE but my first in Australia at the Jack Newton Junior Golf tournament where I am representing NZ.
After back to back strokeplay wins at North Harbour and Waikato, this has propelled me to be ranked no 4 golfer by NZ Golf. Looking forward to Kapi Tareha tournament at my home course Napier GC in a couple of weeks! Bring it on.
NZ Golf contacted me and I have been invited to join the three day NZ Academy training in July at St Peters in Hamilton. My first invitation to a National training event.
June 6 2021 – Won the Maraenui Matchplay Open in the weekend. Had a bye in the first round then won my matches 3/2, 3/2 and the final 5/4. Really happy with my weekend. Didn’t hit the ball as I wanted but my short game was awesome!! Capped off an excellent 3 weeks of golf for me. Won the OngaOnga 27 Hole Open before this and Horowhenua Open after this!!
My two NZ Golf Medals on show – Bronze at NZ Interprovincial and Silver for NZ Under 16’s.
Playing at the NZ Interprovincials at Whitford Park Country Club in Auckland, from 24-28 November. Here is our team photo. I am the second youngest player at the event, with Josh Bai from Auckland 3 months younger than me.
Napier GC – won Senior Champion matchplay title for the first time. Played Jared Lines, Sam Hucker, Bruce Middlemiss and in the final, Tecohney Whitehouse – scores was 4/3 and I was 4 under for the day.
NZ North Island Strokeplay at Whakatane GC on 18-20 September, shot 75, 76, 73 & 68 to finish tied 19th with Best Hawkes Bay score +12 – winner was -7.
Napier Golf Club – won the 2020 senior strokeplay title by a shot with rounds of 74 and 73.
My goal for 2020 was to get to a ZERO handicap, and well, after rounds of 73 70 72 my official handicap was 0.0 on March 8th 2020 for the first time in my life.
